What a beautiful day we had for the 2023 Ride in honoring local Barre World War II veteran, Bob Campo Sr. We had just enough snow so people could ride , and we had a good number of people also drove to the event. Over 50 people enjoyed the chicken and mostaciolli meal graciously provided by Campo di Vino. The meal was prepared and served by Bob and Michelle Campo, Mike and Jean Perrigo, and Lionel and Tina Cyr – thank you all!. All proceeds from the event went to the VFW Post 790. Thanks to the great turnout and donations, we were able to double last years amount and write a check to the VFW for $ 2,000. The VFW uses the funds to support veterans in need. Last year, they were able to assist 8 local veterans. Hopefully this donation will allow them to continue to provide this much needed service.
